These are X-ray sources for non-destructive inspection. A small focal point prevents blurring of the edges during magnification of an X-ray image and delivers a sharp enlarged image. An RS-232C interface is provided as a standard feature and permits external control. These microfocus X-ray sources yield clear, sharp enlarged X-ray images even during 3-dimensional observation.
Microfocus X-ray sources are designed specifically for non-destructive X-ray inspection. These X-ray sources feature a very small focal point that prevents edge blurring due to expanding of the X-ray image and delivers a sharp magnified image. An RS-232C interface is installed as a standard feature to allow external control. Up until now, the main X-ray imaging technique was such that the X-ray camera was installed perpendicular to the X-ray source and imaging target. Recently, however, a 3-dimensional imaging technique is becoming much more popular. In this method, the X-ray camera is placed to face the X-ray source and imaging target at an angle for more precise inspection. Our microfocus X-ray sources are ideal for obtaining sharp, clear X-ray images even when magnified during 3-dimensional observation, because they can form a micro focal point from just 1 to several micrometers.
