Multi-Fiber Adapter (MFA) for NIRO-200

Using the MFA option with the NIRO-200 enables real-time monitoring (with a maximum of 10 channels) of changes in brain
oxygenation. Because measurements are performed simply by attaching the fiber ends at the surface of the scalp, it is possible to perform patient measurements in a non-invasive and minimally restrictive way.
Three laser diodes are used as the light sources, enabling an accurate measurement. Also the laser irradiation power to patients is kept at the Class 1, the safest class defined by IEC60825-1.
