The ImagEM Enhanced camera is a newly developed back-thinned electron multiplier CCD camera. New features provide significant improvements to stability and functionality.
Dark current noise is greatly reduced through a high level of cooling (- 60 deg.C), and high sensitivity has been achieved through a wide dynamic range and long-term observation.
Extremely high quantum efficiency is achieved, and furthermore, dark current noise greatly reduced through - 55 deg.C cooling and a wide dynamic range achieved.
Observations of dark areas that cannot be seen with the naked eye, such as light emission and faint fluorescence using reagents like luciferase, aequorin and luminal are possible.
