The CCD image sensor efficiently detects light emitted from the scintillator since it has high sensitivity to scintillator emission wavelengths (near 550 nm). The FOS is highly rated as a device ideal for X-ray detection and is available with CsI, GOS or other materials so you can select the optimal device to match your application.
