The above software programs should be considered as references for viewing the Hamamatsu Photonics Web site more easily. When creating contents for the Web site, products of the developers that have proven to be popular among large numbers of users are used as the standard, but this does not suggest that these are especially recommended over other products. Additionally, if the user is not having problems viewing the contents through other means, the above software programs do not need to be used.
Hamamatsu Photonics accepts no liability whatsoever for any damage caused by the use of software programs. Users are asked to assume personal responsibility when downloading, installing and using software programs. If assistance is required with regard to Help information and instruction manuals for a software program, we ask that users access the support information on the developer's Web site, the instruction manuals for the computer being used, or other information sources.

Making a search

When you make a search in our Hamamatsu Photonics website, enter a keyword in the search box to specify pages to search and press the Search button. You can simultaneously enter multiple keywords as well as just one word in the search box. When entering multiple keywords, separate them with a space (blank space).

How to search

If your search yields too many search results (hits) then try the following methods to narrow down the results.

Specify the maximum number of hits you want to see on one page (Default setting is 10 hits). When there are many hits, you can increase the number of hits shown per one page by increasing this setting. This allows you to see more hits without having to change the page. However, when there are many hits it may take more time to show them on the screen.

Entering a plus sign (+) or a minus sign (-) between a keyword1 and a keyword2 will help narrow down your search even further.
