Ideal for Testing Systems of LD Modules for DVD Pickups

The LEPAS-12 Laser Beam Profiler is serving as the nucleus of a system for measuring optical beams. Configured of an IEEE1394 I/F board and software, the profiler combines a dedicated optics system and digital camera to enable high-precision, advanced-function analysis of optical beams. The product accommodates a high-performance digital camera (the C9644 or C9164 by Hamamatsu Photonics), thus realizing optical beam measurement with a dynamic range and spatial resolution surpassing those of earlier systems. The system also makes it possible to measure pulsed light, and enables fine adjustments to the amount of light attenuation, which has been problematic up until now.
