Our three research laboratories, the Central Research Laboratory, the Tsukuba Research Laboratory, and the Sports Photonics Laboratory, were established for the purpose of exploring the unknown and adding their own innovative contributions to our store of knowledge. All three laboratories focus primarily on R and D, and go beyond the borders of industry to form collaborative partnerships with a variety of research organizations, using the resulting network as a springboard from which to seek out new areas of knowledge. A broad spectrum of research fields is encompassed, from fundamental research in light to applied research that investigates the unlimited possibilities inherent in light.
